Yellow Grid is the ideal solution for households using the ČEZ Dynamic Tariff or other dynamic electricity pricing plans. The system automatically controls the electric boilers so that water is heated primarily when electricity prices are at their lowest.
Thanks to smart energy management, Yellow Grid can take advantage of daily electricity price fluctuations and shift consumption to cheaper periods throughout the day.
Every day, the system automatically evaluates electricity prices in 15-minute intervals and creates an optimal water heating schedule. It works with a total of 96 intervals per day and automatically selects the most cost-effective periods.
The solution takes into account:

current electricity prices within the dynamic tariff,

high and low distribution tariff rates,

historical household consumption,

the current water temperature in the boiler.
Yellow Grid uses proprietary algorithms and continuously learns the household’s consumption patterns. This allows the system to optimise water heating without reducing user comfort while helping lower electricity costs.
The device is installed directly on the power supply to the water heater and does not require complicated electrical modifications. The system connects via standard Wi-Fi or Ethernet. An LTE version with a prepaid SIM card is also available.
